The 2025 NBA Play-In Tournament is set, and with playoff spots on the line, every game brings high-stakes intensity. Big-market teams, rising stars, and postseason veterans are all fighting to extend their season—and we’ll be breaking down a few of our systems in play for each matchup.


Here’s what’s at stake:

Eastern Conference

  • (7) Orlando Magic vs. (8) Atlanta Hawks
    → Winner earns the 7-seed and faces the Boston Celtics
  • (9) Chicago Bulls vs. (10) Miami Heat
    → Winner faces the loser of Magic-Hawks for the 8-seed

Western Conference

  • (7) Golden State Warriors vs. (8) Memphis Grizzlies
    → Winner earns the 7-seed and faces the Houston Rockets
  • (9) Sacramento Kings vs. (10) Dallas Mavericks
    → Winner faces the loser of Warriors-Grizzlies for the 8-seed
