Jayden Daniels played seven games in 2025 and posted 114.3 PPR points at 16.3 per game, finishing as the 34th quarterback and 114th player overall. The season ended with an injury, and the injury is what most draft rooms remember.
What the injury conceals is that the decline started before it. As a rookie in 2024 he threw 25 touchdowns and rushed for 891 yards, finishing as the third fantasy quarterback. Going into 2025 the market posted him at 24.5 passing touchdowns and 675.5 rushing yards, pricing in some regression but still expecting a top-five finish.
Through seven games he was pacing for 19 passing touchdowns and 674 rushing yards. The rushing line would have held, barely. The passing line was tracking to miss by five and a half scores. His per-game average of 16.3 points would have ranked 17th at the position over a full season, not third. The injury ended the year, but it did not cause the fade.

The parts that survived and the parts that did not
He threw eight touchdowns in seven games, down from the 1.5-per-game rookie pace. He rushed for 278 yards and two scores, which kept him on track for roughly 674 yards but well short of the 891 he posted as a rookie. The efficiency on the ground was intact. The passing volume and touchdown rate were not.
Two of his seven games cleared 20 PPR points, with a ceiling week of 21.6 in Week 6. One game came in under 10, a 2.7-point Week 14 that preceded the injury. The weekly floor was unstable in a way the rookie year had not suggested, and the ceiling weeks were a third less frequent than a top-five quarterback typically produces.
