At The Betting Insider, operated by Insider Sports Inc, we are committed to transparency regarding all purchases and transactions. This Refund Policy provides comprehensive information about our refund procedures for purchases made through our website and our iOS mobile application. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase, as it forms part of our Terms of Service.

Our Services are digital products delivered immediately upon purchase, including real-time sports betting data, analytics, expert picks, AI tools, and premium features. Because access begins instantly, our ability to process refunds is limited.

App Store Purchases (iOS App)

Subscriptions and in-app purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed and managed entirely by Apple. We do not control billing, payment processing, or refund decisions for App Store purchases.

How to Request a Refund for App Store Purchases:
  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Sign in with your Apple ID
  • Select “Request a refund” and choose the reason
  • Select the subscription or purchase you'd like a refund for
Apple typically responds within 24–48 hours. For questions about the status of a refund request, contact Apple Support directly.

Managing App Store Subscriptions:

To cancel or manage your App Store subscription, go to your device's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. You can also manage subscriptions through the App Store app. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to premium features until then. Auto-renewal must be turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged for the next period.

Because Apple handles all App Store billing, we cannot issue refunds, credits, or adjustments for App Store purchases. If you have a billing concern related to an App Store purchase, please contact Apple directly.

Web Purchases (thebettinginsider.com)

All subscriptions and digital purchases made through our website are processed by Stripe. Because our Services are digital products delivered immediately upon payment — including instant access to our Sports Data Suite, real-time odds, expert picks, analytics tools, AI credits, and all premium features — all web purchases are final and non-refundable once access has been granted.

What This Means:

  • You receive full access to all premium features immediately after payment
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled
  • Cancellations prevent future charges but do not trigger refunds for the current period
  • You retain access to all Services through the end of the billing period you've paid for
No Refunds for the Following Reasons: Forgetting to cancel during a trial period, being unaware of automatic renewal terms (which are clearly disclosed at checkout), changing your mind after purchase, not using the Services, dissatisfaction with picks or analysis outcomes, or any other personal reason. These terms are prominently disclosed during the subscription enrollment process, in our Terms of Service, and in this Refund Policy.

Limited Exceptions (Web Purchases Only)

While all web sales are final, we recognize that in rare circumstances, a refund may be warranted. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis, at our sole discretion, under the following limited conditions:

  • Technical Failure on Our End: A confirmed technical issue, system failure, or error on our infrastructure that prevented you from accessing the Services you purchased for an extended period (typically 48+ hours) that we were unable to resolve despite reasonable efforts
  • Billing Errors: A confirmed duplicate payment, duplicate subscription charge, or incorrect billing amount caused by an error in our billing system or payment processor (Stripe)
  • Unauthorized Transactions: Charges proven to result from unauthorized use of a payment method or confirmed fraud, verified through our payment processor's fraud prevention systems
To Request a Refund:
  • Contact us through our contact page within 7 calendar days of the charge
  • Provide your account email, the date and amount of the charge, and a clear description of the issue
  • Include any supporting documentation (screenshots, error messages, etc.)
  • Allow us reasonable time (5–10 business days) to investigate and respond
Requests submitted beyond 7 days of the charge date will generally not be eligible for review, except in cases of confirmed fraud.

All refund decisions are final and made at our sole discretion. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method through Stripe. Your account and subscription will be canceled upon refund approval.

AI Credits and One-Time Purchases

One-time digital purchases made through our website, including AI credits (Quantum AI), blueprint unlocks, and individual pick unlocks, are non-refundable once delivered. AI credits do not expire but have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.

For one-time purchases made through the App Store, Apple's refund policies apply — submit requests through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Free Trials

When offered, free trial periods allow you to try premium features before committing to a paid subscription. Trial terms are clearly disclosed at enrollment:

  • Trials automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled
  • For web trials, cancel through your account settings before the trial expires to avoid charges
  • For App Store trials, turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the trial ends via Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription

It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial ends if you do not wish to be charged. Charges incurred after a trial expires are not eligible for refund on the basis of forgetting to cancel.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Web Subscriptions: Cancel through your account settings at thebettinginsider.com, or contact our support team
  • App Store Subscriptions: Cancel through iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to all premium features until that period expires. No partial refunds are provided for unused days within a billing period. Future automatic renewals are prevented once cancellation is processed.

Once a subscription expires, you will lose access to all premium features and will need to re-subscribe at the then-current pricing to regain access.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly through our contact page before filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card provider. In most cases, we can resolve billing concerns quickly through direct communication.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of your account
  • Loss of access to all Services
  • Ineligibility for future refunds

We take chargebacks seriously and will provide all relevant documentation to our payment processor to contest fraudulent or unwarranted disputes.

The Betting Insider is a sports betting analytics and information platform — we are not a sportsbook and do not accept or facilitate wagers. Refunds are not available based on the outcome of any sporting event, the accuracy of any pick, analysis, signal, or projection, or any gambling losses you may incur. Our Services provide data and opinions for informational purposes only, and all betting decisions are made entirely by you at your own risk.

Modifications to This Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” and provide notice via email or through our Services. Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The Refund Policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern that specific transaction.
