MCP for agents

Connect Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT to the API.

Status

A hosted MCP server at https://api.thebettinginsider.com/mcp is in progress. It will expose the same data as /v1 as tools (list_games, get_game, list_odds, …) and authenticate with your existing key. Nothing to install.

Using the API from an agent today

Any agent that can make HTTP requests can use the API now. Point it at the machine-readable spec and give it a key as an environment variable:

Use the key in $INSIDER_API_KEY as "Authorization: Bearer …".
Then: pull every 2024 NFL game where the home team was a 7+ point favorite and tell me how often they covered.
