Zay Flowers Fantasy Outlook 2026: WR16 On Volume Baltimore Cannot Give Two Receivers
Flowers finished WR7 last season with 1,211 yards and 86 catches against a posted 900.5-yard, 70-catch line, but he has never drawn more than seven red-zone targets in a season.
Why the consensus landed at WR16
Our board has Zay Flowers 34 overall with 210.0 implied PPR points. ESPN has him 37 and the draft room takes him at 44.1. That kind of three-way agreement happens when a player has one season of production clear enough to price but not enough seasons to trust it fully.
He finished WR7 last year with 1,211 receiving yards, 86 receptions, and five touchdowns across all 17 games, posting 243.3 PPR points and 14.3 per game. The year before that he finished WR31. The leap was driven by a target-share jump from 19% to 29% as Baltimore's clear number-one receiver.
The sportsbooks had him at 900.5 receiving yards and 70 receptions going into 2025. He beat the yardage line by 310 yards and the catch line by 16. The market has now adjusted upward to 1,000 receiving yards and 74.5 receptions for 2026, but still projects just 5.5 touchdowns.
The market is not being wrong about what he did last year. It is being right about what drove it and whether it repeats.
The red-zone work has never arrived
Over three NFL seasons Flowers has never drawn more than seven red-zone targets in a year, and last season he saw just six despite playing every game as the primary wide receiver in an offense that scored 31 touchdowns through the air. That is not variance — it is a structural fact about how Baltimore uses him.
Four of his 17 games cleared 20 PPR points and three came in under 10, with a 29.8-point ceiling in Week 18 and a 0.6-point floor in Week 13. The weekly floor is unstable because he does not get short-area work that produces safe outcomes.
