What the rookie season actually looked like

Marvin Harrison Jr. went fourth overall in the 2025 NFL draft. Sportsbooks posted him at 79.4 receptions, 975.5 receiving yards, and 6.5 receiving touchdowns. He played 12 games and caught 41 passes for 608 yards and four touchdowns, finishing as the 49th receiver with 127.8 PPR points and 10.7 per game.

He missed his catch prop by 38, his yardage prop by 367 yards, and his touchdown prop by 2.5. The 12% target share was the problem. Arizona ran 608 pass plays and Harrison saw 72 targets, a utilization rate that cannot support even a floor WR2 outcome. His 14.8 yards per reception was excellent. The volume to make it matter never arrived.

Harrison has now played two seasons of professional football, and neither one produced the profile the draft capital suggested. At some point the pattern is the data, not the excuse.

One boom, six busts, and the weekly cost

Exactly one of his 12 games cleared 20 PPR points, a 22.6-point outing in Week 9. Six games came in under 10, and his worst healthy week was 2.3 points in Week 5.

For a player drafted in the fourth round of fantasy leagues, that is not a disappointing start — it is a roster slot you could not use. You were stuck starting him in bust weeks because of where you drafted him, and you could not predict the one boom.

What changed and what has not

Arizona hired a new offensive coordinator and the quarterback situation has shifted. The props now have him at 62 receptions, 825 receiving yards, and 5.5 receiving touchdowns, which would produce roughly 176.0 PPR points. That is a markdown from where he was priced a year ago, but not a steep one.
