What is a Vegas Backed bet?

A Vegas Backed bet is a side the public is not on (fewer bets and less money) where the line has still moved toward it. It means the sportsbooks are disagreeing with the public.

What is a Pressure Move in sports betting?

A Pressure Move is when a heavy majority of the public is on a side and the line moves with them: Vegas agreeing with the public.

What is Whale Respect?

Whale Respect flags a side carrying a much larger share of the money than of the bets, which means a smaller number of big wagers are on it.

Which signal is strongest?

Vegas Backed is the stronger line signal, because the books are moving against the popular side. Both Vegas Backed and Pressure Move count; they are strongest when they agree with Pinnacle’s lean.
