South Carolina Upstate's Price Has Shrunk Against South Carolina State: Is One Game Enough?

South Carolina Upstate hosts South Carolina State as a 4.5-point favourite at the G.B. Hodge Center, but the price is the story. The Spartans opened at -7.5, a move of 3 points toward the Bulldogs that qualifies as notable. The last meeting went Upstate's way, 78-72 on December 16, 2025 at South Carolina State. Both teams have played once this season, so almost everything below rests on a single game.

The evidence conflicts. Home court and the December win favour Upstate.
